About FAB LED Mask

Professional Light Therapy, Designed Around Real Life

Healthy skin has never been about chasing perfection.

For me, it’s always been about understanding your skin, looking after it consistently and choosing treatments that genuinely support its health over time.

That’s exactly why I created the FAB LED Mask.

Designed using clinically recognised LED light therapy, the FAB LED Mask brings professional-inspired skincare into your home, making it easier than ever to care for your skin between salon visits—or even if you’ve never stepped foot inside a clinic.

Whether your goal is to support healthy aging, reduce the appearance of blemishes, calm redness or simply enjoy a few minutes of self-care each week, the FAB LED Mask has been designed to become part of your everyday skincare ritual.

As I always say…

Healthy Skin Always Wins.

More Than Just an LED Face Mask

The FAB LED Face Mask is much more than another skincare device. It represents almost 20 years of treating real people with real skin concerns and my belief that everyone should have access to professional-inspired skincare, wherever they are.

Throughout my career, I've watched the skincare industry evolve dramatically. Treatments have become more advanced, technology has improved and we've learned more about the skin than ever before. But I've also watched my clients' lives change. People have got married, started families, moved away, changed careers and found life becoming busier than ever.

For many of the people I'd looked after for years, regular clinic appointments simply weren't realistic anymore. That's when I realised that if I truly wanted to help people achieve healthier-looking skin, I needed to find a way to bring professional skincare into their homes.

That belief was one of the driving forces behind FAB Skincare, and it's exactly what inspired the FAB LED Face Mask.

My journey with LED light therapy began back in 2019, long before LED face masks became as popular as they are today. I spent years researching the science behind LED technology, working closely with manufacturers and exploring how professional LED light therapy could be adapted safely and effectively for home use.

Throughout the entire process, I kept coming back to one simple question:

"Would I confidently recommend this to someone sitting in my treatment room?"

If the answer wasn't a wholehearted yes, I kept searching, testing and refining.

Like every product in the FAB collection, the FAB LED Face Mask had to earn its place. I don't believe in launching products simply because they're fashionable or because everyone else is doing it. Every product has to solve a genuine problem, support healthier-looking skin and be something I'd happily recommend to my own family and friends.

When we launched our first LED face mask in 2024, the response was incredible. But I also believe that great products should continue to evolve. We listened carefully to feedback from our customers and therapists, taking on board the questions, suggestions and experiences they shared with us.

That feedback led to the second edition of the FAB LED Face Mask. While the technology at its heart remains the same, we've refined the experience to make it even simpler to use. Treatment programmes have been streamlined, timings are pre-set and every mode is clearly labelled, making it easier than ever to choose the right treatment for your skin.

Because skincare shouldn't feel complicated. It should fit seamlessly into your life, giving you the confidence to care for your skin consistently, wherever you are.

What Is LED Light Therapy And What Does It Do?

LED stands for Light Emitting Diode.

While the name might sound technical, the concept behind it is actually beautifully simple.

Our skin naturally responds to different wavelengths of light.

Unlike ultraviolet (UV) light from the sun, which can damage the skin, LED uses carefully selected wavelengths of visible light to gently support your skin’s natural processes without causing damage or downtime.

Think of it as giving your skin cells a little helping hand. Every single day, your skin is working incredibly hard behind the scenes. It’s constantly repairing itself, producing collagen, renewing skin cells and maintaining your skin barrier. All of those processes require energy.

LED light delivers carefully selected wavelengths that are absorbed by your skin cells, helping to support those natural functions.

It’s completely non-invasive.

It’s painless.

There’s no downtime.

And perhaps best of all, it’s incredibly relaxing.

For many of my clients, those ten minutes wearing their LED Mask become one of the calmest moments in an otherwise busy day.

The Science Behind LED Light Therapy

One of the questions I’m asked most often is,

“How can light actually improve my skin?”

It’s a great question.

The answer lies in the way our skin naturally responds to different wavelengths of light.

Every cell in your body needs energy to do its job, including your skin cells.

They’re constantly working behind the scenes to repair damage, produce collagen, calm inflammation and maintain a healthy skin barrier.

LED light provides those cells with carefully selected wavelengths of energy.

When the light reaches your skin, it’s absorbed by the cells and helps support their normal function.

This process is known as photobiomodulation.

Don’t let the name put you off.

It’s simply the scientific term for using light to support your body’s natural repair processes.

Think about your phone.

When the battery starts running low, it still works—but not quite as efficiently.  Once it’s charged, everything performs as it should again. Your skin works in a similar way.

LED doesn’t force your skin to behave differently. It doesn’t strip your skin, it doesn't damage it. It simply supports your skin cells so they can do the jobs they were naturally designed to do.That’s why LED is very different from treatments that intentionally create controlled damage to stimulate repair.Instead, it works with your skin, supporting its natural ability to repair, renew and restore itself.

Why Different Colours of Light Matter

Not all light behaves in the same way.

Each colour has its own wavelength, and every wavelength travels to a different depth within the skin.

That’s why different colours are used to support different skin concerns.

Some wavelengths work closer to the skin’s surface, while others travel deeper into the tissue where they interact with different cells.

By selecting the appropriate wavelength, we can tailor a treatment to focus on concerns such as blemishes, visible signs of ageing or uneven skin tone.

That’s exactly why we’ve included carefully selected light programmes within the FABLite LED Mask.

We’ve taken science and made it simple.

You don’t need to understand wavelengths or memorise technical terms.

You simply choose the treatment designed for your skin concern and allow the mask to do the rest.

Which Light Should I Use?

One of the biggest improvements we made with the second edition of the FAB  LED Mask was making the treatment programmes much easier to understand.

When I first started researching LED technology, one thing quickly became clear: there was so much confusing information available. Different colours, different wavelengths, different treatment times… it was easy to feel overwhelmed.

I wanted to change that.

Rather than expecting you to become an expert in LED technology, we’ve done the hard work for you.

Each programme has been carefully designed with a specific skin concern in mind, so all you need to do is choose the treatment that best suits your skin that day.

No complicated settings.

No guesswork.

Just simple, effective skincare.

Red Light – Healthy Ageing & Skin Rejuvenation

Red Light is one of the most researched wavelengths used within LED therapy and is my go-to recommendation for anyone wanting to support healthy ageing.

It penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin, where it helps support the skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin—two proteins responsible for keeping skin looking firm, smooth and youthful.

As we age, our natural collagen production gradually slows down. This is completely normal, but it can lead to the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and a loss of firmness over time.

Red Light helps support these natural processes, encouraging skin to look smoother, healthier and more radiant.

I often recommend Red Light to clients who want to maintain healthy skin, even before they’re concerned about ageing.

Looking after your skin early is always easier than trying to correct concerns later.

Red Light is ideal for:

• Fine lines and wrinkles

• Loss of firmness

• Dull or tired-looking skin

• Supporting collagen production

• Maintaining a healthy, radiant complexion

Blue Light – Blemish-Prone Skin

Blue Light works closer to the skin’s surface, making it an excellent choice for blemish-prone and congested skin.

It’s commonly used to help reduce the appearance of blemishes by targeting acne-causing bacteria while supporting a clearer-looking complexion.

Whether you’re experiencing occasional hormonal breakouts, oily skin or persistent congestion, Blue Light can become a valuable part of your skincare routine.

I often explain to clients that healthy skin isn’t about stripping away oil or using harsh products.

It’s about creating balance.

That’s why I love combining Blue Light with a gentle skincare routine that protects and supports the skin barrier rather than compromising it.

Blue Light is ideal for:

• Breakouts

• Congested skin

• Oily skin

• Hormonal blemishes

• Teen skin

Yellow Light – Brightening & Skin Tone

Yellow Light is often overlooked, but it’s genuinely one of my favourite settings.

Whenever a client tells me their skin looks tired, stressed or lacking its usual glow, this is usually the programme I recommend.

Yellow Light helps brighten the appearance of dull skin, improve the look of uneven skin tone and promote a healthier, more radiant complexion.

It can also help calm the appearance of redness, making it a lovely option for anyone wanting to give their skin a refreshed, well-rested appearance.

Sometimes your skin doesn’t need correcting.

It simply needs a little support.

Yellow Light is ideal for:

• Dull skin

• Uneven skin tone

• Redness

• Tired-looking skin

• Supporting a brighter complexion

Near Infrared (NIR) – The Invisible Light Working Beneath the Surface

Unlike red, blue and yellow LED light, Near Infrared (NIR) is invisible to the human eye. Although you can't see it, it's one of the most exciting wavelengths used in light therapy because it penetrates deeper into the skin than visible light.

While visible LED light primarily works within the upper layers of the skin, NIR reaches the deeper tissues where it helps support your skin's natural repair and renewal processes. This makes it an excellent addition for anyone looking to support healthy ageing, improve the appearance of skin firmness and promote overall skin health.

Rather than targeting just one skin concern, NIR works behind the scenes to help create the ideal environment for healthier-looking skin over time.

Like all LED therapy, the benefits of NIR come through regular, consistent use. It isn't about instant results—it's about supporting your skin every day so it can function at its best.

The Benefits of Near Infrared (NIR)

Near Infrared light may help to:

  • Support the skin's natural repair processes.

  • Improve the appearance of skin firmness and elasticity.

  • Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

  • Promote a smoother, healthier-looking complexion.

  • Support overall skin rejuvenation.

  • Complement your red, blue and yellow LED treatments for a more complete skincare routine.

Why I Love LED

After almost 20 years of treating skin, I've realised something.

The best skincare treatments aren't always the strongest. They're the ones that work with your skin, supporting its natural processes rather than constantly trying to fight against them.

That's exactly why I love LED light therapy.

It doesn't damage the skin or rely on creating controlled trauma to achieve results. There's no downtime, no peeling and no discomfort. Instead, it uses carefully selected wavelengths of light to gently support your skin's natural ability to repair, renew and maintain a healthy complexion.

For me, that's what modern skincare should be about.

It's about supporting your skin, protecting your skin barrier and building healthier skin over time—not chasing quick fixes or promising overnight miracles.

Healthy skin is built through consistency, and that's exactly where LED fits into your routine. A few minutes, several times a week, can help support brighter, calmer and healthier-looking skin that continues to improve with regular use.

The Benefits of the FAB LED Mask

With regular use, the FAB LED Mask can help:

✔ Support healthier-looking skin.

✔ Improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

✔ Encourage firmer, smoother-looking skin.

✔ Reduce the appearance of blemishes.

✔ Calm the appearance of redness.

✔ Improve uneven skin tone.

✔ Boost natural radiance.

✔ Support your skin’s natural barrier.

✔ Complement your existing skincare routine.

✔ Bring professional-inspired skincare into your own home.

Like every good skincare routine, consistency is where the real results happen.

Healthy skin isn’t created overnight.

It’s created through small habits repeated consistently over time.

Why Consistency Is Everything

One of the biggest misconceptions about LED is that you’ll see dramatic changes after one treatment. While many people notice their skin looks fresher, brighter and more radiant after a session, the real magic happens through consistency. I often compare LED to going to the gym. One workout won’t completely transform your body. But if you exercise regularly, eat well and stay consistent, the results gradually become more noticeable over time. Healthy skin works exactly the same way. Every treatment builds on the last, helping to support your skin’s natural processes little by little. That’s why I always encourage my clients to think of their LED Mask as part of their skincare routine, rather than an occasional treatment.

Small, consistent habits really do make the biggest difference.

How to Use Your FAB LED Mask

One of the things people love most about the FAB LED Mask is how easily it fits into everyday life.

Using it couldn’t be simpler.

Step 1 – Cleanse

Start by removing make-up, SPF and impurities using No.1 Before You Cleanse.

Follow with No.2 Daily Cleanser to leave your skin perfectly clean and ready for treatment.

Clean skin allows the light to reach the skin without unnecessary surface build-up.

Step 2 – Choose Your Treatment

Place your FAB LED Mask comfortably over your face.

Select the programme that best suits your skin’s needs.

Each programme has already been pre-set, so there’s nothing else for you to adjust.

Step 3 – Relax & Take a Moment for You

Now comes my favourite part.

Once your mask is on, it's time to slow down.

Put your phone aside, listen to your favourite music, read a few pages of a book, meditate or simply close your eyes and enjoy a few moments of peace.

While you're taking time for yourself, your LED treatment is quietly working to support your skin beneath the surface.

For me, that's one of the biggest benefits of LED. It's not just about caring for your skin—it's about giving yourself permission to pause, breathe and enjoy a little self-care after a hectic day.

Step 4 – Nourish

Once your treatment has finished, apply No.7 Youth Elixir Serum.

Rich in Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid and Squalane, it’s the perfect partner to your LED routine, helping to replenish hydration and support your skin barrier.

Finish with No.8 Moisturise + Protect during the day to lock in moisture while protecting your skin with SPF.

If you’re using your LED Mask as part of your evening routine, i would follow with No.4 Collagen Mask and give your skin an extra lasting treat through the night.

Why Choose the FAB LED Mask?

With so many LED masks available today, it can be difficult to know which one is right for you. When I first started researching LED technology back in 2019, there were already plenty of options on the market. Some looked impressive, others made bold promises, but very few had been created by someone who treats skin every single day.

Creating the FAB LED Mask was never about being the first to launch an LED device or following the latest trend. My goal was simple: to create a mask that I could confidently recommend to every client who walked through my clinic door. Throughout its development, every decision came back to one question: "Would I happily recommend this to someone I genuinely care about?" If the answer wasn't a wholehearted yes, we went back to the drawing board.

That philosophy continues to guide everything we do at FAB. The FAB LED Mask wasn't created by a technology company looking to move into skincare—it was created by a skin therapist with almost 20 years of hands-on experience treating thousands of people with real skin concerns. Every feature has been shaped by years of clinical experience, refined through customer feedback and designed to fit seamlessly into real life, because the best skincare routine is always the one you'll enjoy and stick to.

When we introduced the second edition, it wasn't because the first wasn't good enough. It was because we'd listened. We refined the design, simplified the treatment programmes and made it even easier to use, because consistency is what delivers results, and skincare should never feel complicated.

When you choose the FAB LED Mask, you're choosing far more than an LED device. You're choosing almost two decades of hands-on experience, years of research and development, and a brand built on honesty, education and trust. It's a product created by someone who understands skin inside and out, and one I'm incredibly proud to put my name to.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are LED Face Masks Safe?

Yes.

LED light therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses carefully selected wavelengths of visible light.

Unlike UV light, LED does not damage the skin or cause downtime when used as directed.

If you’re pregnant, have a medical condition that causes light sensitivity or are taking medication that increases sensitivity to light, we recommend speaking with your GP or healthcare professional before using your LED Mask.

How often should I use my FAB LED Mask?

For most people, I recommend using your mask three to five times per week.

Like any skincare routine, consistency is far more important than intensity.

A few regular treatments each week will deliver better long-term results than using it every day for one week and then forgetting about it.

Do LED Masks Really Work?

Yes, but remember, everyone’s skin is different.

Some people notice their skin looks brighter and more radiant after just a few treatments.

For concerns such as fine lines, blemishes and uneven skin tone, improvements usually become more noticeable after several weeks of regular use.

Healthy skin is built over time.

Can I use my LED Mask every day?

Most people can.

However, for the majority of skin concerns, three to five sessions each week is more than enough.

Consistency will always be more important than overusing any skincare treatment.

Can I use LED with my FAB Skincare products?

Absolutely.

In fact, I designed the FAB LED Mask to work alongside your skincare routine.

I recommend cleansing with No.1 Before You Cleanse and No.2 Daily Cleanser, completing your LED treatment and then following with No5 Eye Cream,  No.7 Youth Elixir before finishing with No.8 Moisturise + Protect during the day or the No4 Collagen Mask to sleep in overnight.

Can I use LED if I have sensitive skin?

Many people with sensitive skin enjoy LED therapy because it is gentle and non-invasive.

If you have an underlying skin condition or are unsure, it’s always sensible to seek advice from your healthcare professional before starting any new treatment.

LED Myths vs Facts

There’s a lot of information online about LED therapy, and unfortunately, not all of it is accurate.

Let’s clear up a few of the most common myths I hear in the clinic.

Myth: LED light is the same as UV light.

Fact: Not at all.

UV light can damage the skin and contribute to premature ageing.

LED uses visible light and works in a completely different way, supporting your skin’s natural processes without causing damage.

Myth: One treatment is enough to transform your skin.

Fact: If only it were that easy!

Like every good skincare routine, LED works best through consistency.

Each treatment builds on the last, supporting healthier-looking skin over time.

Myth: The strongest LED Mask is always the best.

Fact: Not necessarily.

Successful LED therapy isn’t about having the brightest light or the highest power.

It’s about using the correct wavelengths, appropriate treatment times and following a routine consistently.

Myth: LED replaces skincare.

Fact: No.

Think of LED as another tool in your skincare routine.

It works beautifully alongside good skincare, helping to support your skin while your products continue doing their job.

The two complement one another.

Myth: LED Masks are only for ageing skin.

Fact: Definitely not.

LED can be beneficial for a wide range of skin concerns, including blemishes, redness, uneven skin tone and maintaining overall skin health.

That’s why I recommend it to clients of all ages.

Myth: More treatments mean faster results.

Fact: Your skin needs time to respond naturally.

Following the recommended treatment schedule consistently is far more effective than trying to do multiple sessions in one day.

Healthy skin is a marathon, not a sprint.

A Note from Laura

People often ask me, "Laura, do I really need an LED Mask?"

My answer is always the same.

No, you don't.

In the same way you don't need to exercise or eat a balanced diet, you don't need an LED Mask. But if you're serious about looking after your skin, protecting your skin barrier and building healthy skin for years to come, then I genuinely believe it's one of the best investments you can make.

I've spent almost twenty years treating skin, and if there's one lesson that's stayed with me throughout my career, it's that there isn't a miracle product and there certainly isn't a quick fix. Healthy skin is built through small, consistent habits that you repeat week after week. It's the little things you do regularly that make the biggest difference over time.

That's exactly why I created the FAB LED Mask.

Not to replace a good skincare routine or to promise unrealistic overnight results, but to become another simple habit that supports your skin while giving you ten minutes to slow down and invest in yourself.

Whether you've been visiting me in clinic for years or this is your very first FAB purchase, thank you for trusting me with your skin. I never take that trust for granted. Every product we create is developed with care, tested with purpose and only launched when I truly believe it deserves a place in your skincare routine.

My hope is that your FAB LED Mask becomes more than just another skincare device. I hope it becomes part of a ritual you genuinely look forward to—a chance to pause, reset and enjoy a few moments that are entirely your own while doing something positive for your skin.

Because healthy skin isn't just about what you see in the mirror. It's about feeling confident in your own skin, understanding it and enjoying the journey of looking after it.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of that journey.

As I always say...

Healthy Skin Always Wins.

With love,

Laura x
